The Never Alone art exhibit has already sold numerous pieces of art, benefitting Eric McDavid and Marie Mason. Both of Marie’s paintings have sold, which is great to see. There is still this wonderful drawing by anarchist prisoner Sean Swain, inspired and featuring the No Fences poem written by Marie. Be sure to check out (and bid!) on the amazing art that is part of the Never Alone art auction.
Bids close on June 30th so don’t procrastinate. ;)

The Music for Prisoners and Marie Mason in Minneapolis on Nov. 12 went well. A very good, young Native hip-hop act called “Savage Instinct” opened the evening before singer/songwriter David Rovics performed. Many of the organizers of the RNC protests were there, and others who have been involved with direct action protests including the Minnehaha Free State back in the 90′s.
Note: David’s new CD, Meanwhile In Afghanistan
, is now available for purchase at his online store
, along with the 8-CD David Rovics Combo Pack, the 99-song Playbutton MP3 player and more merch!
