On this day, in 1990, the World Health Organization’s declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder. The Day represents an annual landmark to draw the attention of decision makers, the media, the public, opinion leaders and local authorities to the alarming situation faced by lesbian, gay, bisexuals, transgender and intersex people and all those who do not conform to majority sexual and gender norms.
Marius has recently communicated that because of the recent “bathroom bill,” hype, people in his block are saying a lot of transphobic/transmysoginist/trans hate things. He is feeling overwhelmed and is having to isolate himself even more than his already extremely isolated state.
