Karin Hildegard Mason, age 76 of Canadian Lakes passed away December 3, 2014 at her home with family by her side. Karin was born May 4, 1938 in Stuttgart, Germany, the daughter of Karl and Gertrude (Kunberger) Schmauder. She was an amazing Mother, a dedicated teacher because of her love for children and she would say, “love and honor those around us and admire the beauty in life”. A smile was always on her face and she was so much fun to be around. She inherited her adventurous spirit from her parents and just simply loved life!
Those left to cherish her memory are her son an daughter, Marius Mason and Germaine Anne (Stephen) Finley; one sister Gisela (Gerhard) Klumbach; four grandchildren, Andrei Stephens, Arianna Staiger, Stephanie Finley and Matthew Finley.
